In Group B at Mawlum Tyrsad Ground, Bright Future SSCC (of Pyndengumiong District Sports Association) beat Mawten SC (of Mawkyrwat District Sports Association) before Young SSCC (of PDSA) took down local side Mawsawrit SC (of Tyrsad Area Sports Association).

Conditions in Tyrsad were challenging with heavy rain and fog a feature of the day. That being said, the players showed tremendous grit and determination not to let that stop them as they sought to win for their respective clubs.
The Tyrsad Area Sports Association has a long history of supporting women’s football, being one of the first district associations to regularly organise women’s football leagues. Many of the players who have represented the state or who have gone on to play in clubs around the country have at one time or another played their football in the TASA league.
Saturday’s fixtures:

Group B – Young SSCC vs Mawten SC, 12pm, Mawlum Tyrsad Ground
