Yuva Run
As part of the ‘Fortnight of Service’ campaign, Sewa Pakhwada, the state BJP Yuva Morcha conducted the NAMO Yuva Run for a Nasha-Mukt Bharat, a drug-free society, on Thursday. Nearly a thousand enthusiastic citizens braved challenging weather conditions to answer a call for a drug-free state by participating in the marathon, which started and culminated at the State Central Library after covering a distance of nine km. A sixty-six-year-old woman, the oldest runner, and a three-year-old girl, the youngest participant, stood out as sources of inspiration. The event was flagged off by BJP MLA AL Hek and was attended by noted marathon winner, Kmoiñ Wahlang.
