SHILLONG, Oct 9: Curtain came down on the Hindi Pakhwada 2025 at the National Informatics Centre (NIC), Meghalaya, which was observed from September 14 to 29 to promote and develop the Rajbhasha (Hindi language) in official work.
The fortnight-long celebration featured a variety of competitions, including poetry, dictation, passage reading and elocution.
The concluding session was attended by Ajay Madhukar Joshi, Deputy Director General & HoG (Rajbhasha), NIC HQ New Delhi; Prof. Partha Sarathy Pandey, Regional Director, Central Hindi Institute, Shillong; and Santhosh VT, State Informatics Officer, NIC Meghalaya.
The event emphasised the consistent efforts required for the promotion of Hindi in the country, with NIC Meghalaya officials actively participating in all programmes.
Organised by the Official Language Implementation Committee (OLIC) of NIC Meghalaya, the celebration concluded on September 29 with 100% participation of all NIC officials.
