GUWAHATI, Oct 24: The National Union of Journalists India (NUJI) and the Journalists Association of Assam (JAA) have expressed deep grief over the demise of veteran journalist and political analyst Baikuntha Goswami.
In a press release, the president of ‘JAA’, Dhirendranath Chakraborty, chief advisor of JAA and National vice-president of ‘NUJI’, Bhupen Goswami and general secretary of ‘JAA’, Dalim Phukan said that Baikuntha Goswami had been able to draw the attention of the government to solve various problems of Assam for a long time since the seventies through his national level news service.
