NEW DELHI, Oct 29: Gold prices rebounded in Delhi on Wednesday, rising Rs 2,600 to Rs 1,24,400 per 10 grams, ending a two-day losing streak amid fresh safe-haven demand ahead of the US Federal Reserve policy decision.
Silver surged Rs 6,700 to Rs 1,51,700 per kilogram. Globally, spot gold climbed nearly 2% to USD 4,029 per ounce, supported by geopolitical tensions in the Middle East and expectations of a 25-basis-point Fed rate cut. The dollar index rose slightly, while easing US-China trade tensions tempered further gains. (PTI)
