Alia Bhatt, Sharvari-starrer Alpha to release on April 17

The upcoming Alia Bhatt and Sharvari-starrer action film Alpha has a new release date. The film, which was earlier slated to release on December 25 (as confirmed by Alia on the sidelines of the Milan Fashion Week), will now bow in cinemas on April 17, 2026. The reason behind the release getting pushed is the VFX work remaining on the film. The makers are leaving no stone unturned to serve a delectable actioner, and the first female-led film from the famed spy-universe, and for that to happen, December 25 deadline seems too tight of a ropewalk. Yash Raj Films confirmed as they shared that the VFX team of ‘Alpha needs more time to present Alpha in its visually best shape. (IANS)

Kartik’s Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri to release on December 25

Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri, featuring Ananya Panday and Kartik Aaryan in the lead roles, will hit the big screen on December 25. The upcoming film is directed by Sameer Vidwans of Satyaprem Ki Katha fame and is produced by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions. It was previously slated to release in theatres on December 31. Panday and Aaryan shared the news with a collaborative post on Instagram on Monday. The post featured the film’s poster. ‘I am coming again !! Jenn makes her relationship with Jim Curtis Insta official

Hollywood star Jennifer Aniston made her relationship with writer Jim Curtis official with a heartfelt post on Instagram on Monday. The 56-year-old posted a black and white picture of herself hugging Curtis from the back with a sweet smile. ‘Happy birthday my love. Cherished,’ the caption to her post read. Curtis is a hypnotherapist, author and is known for his work in preaching self help and assisting people overcome emotional trauma. A source close to Aniston told People magazine, “They were introduced by a friend and started out as friends. Jen (Aniston) had read his book and was familiar with his work. He’s very different from anyone she’s dated before.” (PTI)

Jesse Eisenberg to donate his kidney

Hollywood actor Jesse Eisenberg, best known for his roles in projects such as The Social Network and Justice League, said he is donating one of his kidneys to a stranger and he is “excited” to do it. Eisenberg said he will be doing altruistic donation in mid-December. ‘I’m actually donating my kidney in six weeks. I really am… I don’t know why. I got bitten by the blood donation bug. I’m doing an altruistic donation in mid-December. I’m so excited to do it,’ he told NBC’s Today. ‘It’s essentially risk-free and so needed. I think people will realise that it’s a no-brainer, if you have the time and the inclination,’ he added. The 42-year-old actor said he thought about donation 10 years ago. Besides, he has been a regular blood donor for several months. (PTI)

Agastya Nanda-starrer Ikkis to release on Chirstmas day

Ikkis, headlined by Agastya Nanda, is set to release in theatres on December 25, the makers said on Monday.
Produced under Dinesh Vijan’s production banner Maddock Films, the film is directed by Sriram Raghavan. It is written by Raghavan alongside Arijit Biswas and Pooja Ladha Surti. The makers announced the news with a post on Instagram, which comprised film’s poster with the release date written over it. ‘On 25th December, bravery marches into cinemas.
