SHILLONG, Nov 13: The Meghalaya State Planning Board (MSPB) has sought detailed action-taken reports from all priority-sector departments to ensure that earlier decisions are effectively implemented.
This directive was issued during the board’s introductory meeting held on Thursday under the chairmanship of its newly appointed head, AT Mondal. The meeting reviewed follow-up actions arising from previous minutes and emphasised accountability across key sectors.
The MSPB decided to seek Action Taken Reports (ATRs) from various departments regarding the resolutions of the MSPB, including issues such as traffic management, soil erosion into the Dawki River by the NHAI and other matters related to priority sector departments.
The MSPB is scheduled to reconvene in December to assess departmental responses and evaluate progress achieved in the identified sectors.
