Anuv Jain announces his first-ever world tour
There’s great news for the fans of singer Anuv Jain as he announced his first-ever world tour ‘Dastakhat’. The India leg of the Dastakhat World Tour, produced and promoted by Team Innovation and TribeVibe Entertainment, will kick off in January 2026, travelling through New Delhi, Ahmedabad, Pune, Chandigarh, Hyderabad, Indore, Mumbai, Jaipur and Bengaluru, before wrapping up in February 2026, read a press note. In addition to the ten Indian cities, the tour will expand to 23 cities worldwide through 2026 and 2027, including stops across Australia, North America, the UK & Europe and the Middle East. Excited about the tour, Anuv Jain said, ‘Dastakhat feels like signing my name on a story that began years ago — one that’s still being written with every person who listens, sings along, or feels something through my songs. This tour isn’t just a series of performances; it’s an embrace of where I come from, and where this music will go next.’
Rahu Ketu to hit theatres on 16 January 2026
The comedy film Rahu Ketu, featuring the Fukrey duo Pulkit Samrat and Varun Sharma, is set to release on the big screen on January 16, 2026. Produced by Zee Studios and BLiv, the film will blend folklore, situational comedy, and sharp social commentary into a uniquely entertaining package, according to a press release. Directed and written by Fukrey fame Vipul Vig, the film also stars Shalini Pandey in a leading role. ‘At Zee Studios, we’re committed to championing stories that break the clutter while staying deeply connected to Indian audiences. ‘Rahu Ketu’ does exactly that. It taps into our cultural belief systems with a playful twist and brings together a lead cast that’s loved for their comic timing. Prabhas-starrer Fauzi to be made in two-part series
Mythri Movie Makers announced their film Fauzi, starring Prabhas, will be made in a two part series with the second film being a prequel. The film marks Prabhas’ first collaboration with the Sita Ramam and is set to be a fictionalised resetting of historical events, according to a press release. Director Hanu Raghavapudi said the second instalment will ‘explore another dimension’ and will have ’plenty to explore from India’s colonial past’. “We’re portraying one world of Prabhas in this movie, and the second installment will explore another dimension. There’s abundant material from our colonial past – stories that ended tragically but could’ve been fairy tales in another reality. l’ve also woven in a few real-life experiences that inspired me personally,’ Raghavapudi said. Ahaan Panday to train 5 hours a day for his next film
Actor Ahaan Panday, who became an overnight star with his blockbuster debut, Saiyyara, is set to pump the iron for his upcoming film. The actor will soon be entering a phase of intense physical training clocking 5 hours a day to bulk up, and gain strength. Ahaan, who will be celebrating his birthday next month, will have an action-packed working birthday as he starts action prep for his next film with director Ali Abbas Zafar’s film with Yash Raj Films A source close to the development said, “Ahaan will start his training in boxing first and then move on to mixing martial arts and hardcore strength training to bulk up for screen. His training will be for about 5 hours every day. It will be intense but necessary as Ali wants to present him as a young boy who can take down people with sheer brute force”. (IANS)
