Only 30 pc work completed on multi-level car park upgrade

SHILLONG, Nov 21: The physical progress of the retrofitting and upgrade of three multi-level car parks in the state capital stands at just 30 per cent, even after three years since the project was awarded under the Shillong Smart City Project Limited.
The project was awarded to Avantika Contractor (I) Limited in March 2022.
As of the end of September 2025, the physical progress of the project is only 30 per cent, while the financial progress is 19.15 per cent.
The expected date of completion for the project is December 31, 2025.
