17-day expo gets under way in Tura

TURA, Nov 22: The 2nd International Leo Expo 2025 on Friday commenced in Tura, drawing participants from across the globe and featuring foreign stalls.
According to a statement here, the grand expo, which will continue till December 7 at the Tura Police Parade Ground, promises a magnificent collection of products from various parts of India, including Kashmir, Rajasthan, Punjab and Delhi.
The 17-day expo will be participated by four countries, namely Thailand, Afghanistan, Dubai and Turkey.
Visitors will have the opportunity to explore a wide array of international goods. Thailand, for example, is showcasing beautiful jewellery, artificial flowers, and decorative items. Afghanistan is offering premium dry fruits, saffron, and seeds, while Turkey is featuring a variety of traditional sweets, including authentic Turkish Baklava.
“The expo will offer an extensive selection of stylish and modern furniture, home décor items, decorative fountains, and carpets, warm Kashmiri winter wear, shoes, sandals, ornaments, Ayurvedic medicines, a wide range of pickles, and jari buti and much more,” the statement said.
Another major attraction is the Food Zone, which offers a wide range of delicious dishes, from authentic Kashmiri cuisine to mouth-watering specialities from various regions.
