Shillong, Nov 22: The Centenary Run 2025, held to commemorate 100 years of service of the State Bank of India’s Shillong Main Branch, concluded on Saturday with an enthusiastic turnout and standout performances across the 5K and 10K open categories for both men and women, as participants began and finished their races at the SBI Main Branch.
In the 5K women’s category, Angelista Syiemlieh secured first place with a time of 19:32, followed by Jenny Ramde in 19:48 and Donarupa Thongni in 20:16, while consolation prizes went to Ribika Bkhar, Nangkiew Syi Slong, Beltina Pyngrope, Nathalene Lyngdoh, Iapyntngen K.L., and Nidananshia Pakma, all finishing between 20:44 and 22:08. The men’s 5K event saw Datohmi Tre Suting claim the top spot with an impressive 14:25, edging out Wankyremen K. Manphang (14:26) and Lbestarly Kyngkhoh (14:39), with additional consolation honours awarded to Iwelljohn Ramsiej, Sanctify Pale, Pyrkhatbha Suchiang, Shiningstar Mukhim, Myngelson Ramsiej and Keverson Kharmuti, who clocked between 14:58 and 15:57. In the 10K women’s race, Warqueenless Ramsiej dominated with a winning time of 41:32, finishing ahead of Phyrnai Kyndait (44:37) and Filinzia Hansepi (45:04), while consolation awards went to Pinky Lanong, Evanstilin Kharghing, Wenawary Nahlang, Seinclangkhi Dkhar, Phlorlangki Dkhar and Dajes Syiehsad, whose timings ranged from 48:21 to 57:39. The men’s 10K proved tightly contested, with Rangket Jonathan Pathaw taking victory in 33:33, narrowly ahead of Hasbennison Marwein (33:40).
