MCA picks squad for first two matches of Vijay Merchant Trophy

Shillong, Nov 25: The Meghalaya Cricket Association has named its squad for the first two matches of the multi-day U-16 boys’ Vijay Merchant Trophy 2025-26.
The plate group matches will all take place in Surat and Meghalaya’s first fixture will be against Sikkim from December 7 to 9.
The second game will be versus Jammu and Kashmir from December 12 to 14. The MCA junior men’s selection committee has picked a squad of 15 with five standbys. Meghalaya’s preparatory camp will run from November 27 to December 3 at the RBDCA Cricket Ground in Pahamsning, Nongkhrah, MCA Honorary Secretary Rayonald Kharkamni said in a notification on Tuesday.
While players from Ri-Bhoi should report at the camp directly on November 27, all others, including standbys, should report to Polo Ground, Shillong, on November 26 at 2pm for departure to Nongpoh.
