TURA, Nov 25: Union Minister of State for Housing and Urban Affairs, Tokhan Sahu on Tuesday, visited South Garo Hills and chaired the review meeting with district-level officers at Circuit House Conference Hall, Baghmara.
Sahu, during his address emphasised the need to prioritise education and the health sector and ensure that every child and every citizen has access to free and fair Education, high quality, affordable and comprehensive health care facilities etc. While highlighting the PM’s vision to transform the backward state’s of India with maximum support from the central government through Viksit Bharat, he hoped that ‘Sabka Vikas Sabka Vishwas’ reaches all the backward regions of the country.
The minister provided insightful feedbacks and suggestions to further enhance the success of the projects.
The discussion covered several key central government initiatives.
