Shillong to host Santosh Trophy matches

Shillong, Nov 26: Shillong is set to host the Group E fixtures of the 79th National Football Championship for the Santosh Trophy 2025-26, with all matches scheduled to take place at the SSA Stadium in Polo Grounds.
Group E will feature three teams including host Meghalaya, Sikkim and Arunachal Pradesh who will be competing from December 19 to 23.
Meghalaya will open its campaign against Sikkim on December 19, before facing Arunachal Pradesh in their second match on December 23.
Meghalaya Football Association president Hamletson Dohling expressed enthusiasm ahead of the tournament, stating, “We look forward to welcoming the teams to our city and delivering an exciting week of football.”
