Achievement

Amrita Choudhury has been awarded a Ph.D. degree by North-Eastern Hill University, Shillong, for her research titled ‘Genetic fidelity analysis of in vitro regenerants of Curcuma longa L.’ Her doctoral work was completed under the joint supervision of Prof. (Retd.) S. R. Rao, Department of Biotechnology & Bioinformatics, and Dr Meera C. Das, Department of Botany, NEHU. She is the daughter of Abhibrata Choudhury and Banani Choudhury. She is a resident of Upper Jail Road.
