s, currently serving a four-year sentence at FCI Fort Dix in New Jersey, organized and personally funded Thanksgiving meals for his fellow inmates, reports The Hollywood Reporter.
Working with an internal inmate group called the Bankroll Bosses, Combs aimed to boost morale during the holiday season, emphasizing that Thanksgiving is about “making sure other people eat.”
With no access to proper kitchen equipment, Combs and other inmates purchased ingredients from the prison commissary and spent two days preparing meals using only ID cards to cut ingredients, without stoves or microwaves. They successfully distributed full Thanksgiving dinners—including turkey roast, mashed potatoes, corn, and dessert—to every housing unit at Fort Dix.
Combs told TMZ that the initiative was meant to foster a sense of family among inmates, many of whom miss their loved ones and feel isolated during the holidays. He highlighted the camaraderie inside prison, describing it as a supportive “brotherhood” that is often misunderstood from the outside.
Combs was transferred to Fort Dix in October after being sentenced earlier this year to four years and two months in prison for two counts of violating the Mann Act. In addition to his prison term, he was fined $500,000 and will undergo five years of supervised release after completing his sentence. The Thanksgiving initiative reflects his effort to bring positivity and community to fellow inmates despite challenging circumstances. (ANI)
