Shillong, Nov 30: The Khasi youths studying and working in Bengaluru enthusiastically participated in the Hynniewtrep Cultural Meet 2025, themed ‘Preserve Your Roots’, at St. Paul College, Bengaluru.
The newly elected office-bearers of the KSU Bengaluru and Mangaluru unit were formally inducted by Samla Pynkmenlang Sanmiet, Education Secretary, KSU Central Executive Council, during the event.
Advisor to the Social Welfare Department, Paul Lyngdoh, attended the event as the chief guest, while Samla Pynkmenlang Sanmiet (Education Secretary, KSU CEC) was the guest of honour.
Also present on the occasion were Jame Hitler Mawphniang (Legal Affairs Secretary, KSU), Pastor A. S. Nongrum (Pastor, Khasi Jaintia Christian Fellowship), Meban Plielad Shadap (Adviser, KSU Bengaluru Unit), and Fr. Dr Thomas (Principal, St. Paul College, Bengaluru).
