JAIPUR, Dec 10: The Rajasthan High Court received its fifth bomb threat in six weeks on Wednesday, marking the second threat in just two days.
The alert triggered immediate action, with bomb disposal and dog squads conducting extensive searches of the Satyamev Jayate building, parking areas, and record rooms over a two-hour operation.
No explosives were found, and the premises were declared safe, allowing judicial proceedings to resume at 11:30 a.m.
These threats come ahead of the Rajasthan High Court Bar Association elections scheduled for December 11. Previous hoax emails were sent on October 31, December 5, and twice on December 8–9, repeatedly disrupting court functioning and causing evacuations.
The Cyber Cell has taken over the investigation for technical analysis.
Security agencies are enhancing surveillance, tightening entry checks, and improving overall safety measures across the High Court complex.
Authorities have urged the public to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity to prevent such incidents in the future. (IANS)
