24 candidates to undergo state-level Yogasana judges’ training

Shillong, Dec 12: The Meghalaya Yogasana Sports Association is set to conduct the 5th State Level Yogasana Sports Judges’ Training Programme 2025-26 from December 13 to 16 in a hybrid format, combining both online and offline sessions.
The inaugural ceremony will be held at Tikrikilla Government College in West Garo Hills from 9:30 am onwards. The event will be flagged off by State Joint Secretary (Technical) Ramen Rabha.
The training programme forms part of Meghalaya’s broader preparation for the 39th National Games 2027, which the state will host. The initiative is being organised in collaboration with the Directorate of Sports & Youth Affairs, Government of Meghalaya.
A total of 24 participants from six districts across the state will take part in the four-day training, aimed at strengthening technical expertise and expanding the pool of certified judges for Yogasana sports in Meghalaya.
