NEW DELHI, Dec 16: Gold prices fell Rs 1,700 to Rs 1,35,900 per 10g in Delhi, ending a four-day record rally, as investors booked profits amid weak global cues.
Silver dropped Rs 1,000 to Rs 1,98,500 per kg. Globally, spot gold declined $27.80 to $4,277.42/oz, and silver fell $1.07 to $63.02/oz.
The decline reflects cautious trading ahead of key US economic data, including nonfarm payrolls, which may influence Federal Reserve interest-rate decisions. (PTI)
