NEW DELHI, Dec 17: India’s GDP is projected to grow 7.5% in FY26 and 7% in FY27, supported by resilient domestic demand, stable macro fundamentals, and a revival in the capex cycle.
Inflation is expected at 2.1% in FY26, rising to around 4% in FY27, while the fiscal deficit is forecast at 4.4% in FY26, narrowing to 4.2–4.3% in FY27.
Strong FDI inflows, especially in sectors like EVs, renewables, electronics, data centres, and AI infrastructure, along with reforms such as the new labour code and a potential US-India trade deal, are expected to boost investor confidence and sustain India’s growth despite global economic challenges.
