Vadodara, Jan 10: The Kotambi Stadium, making its debut as a men’s international venue, is set to offer ideal playing conditions, with temperatures forecast to sit comfortably in the mid-20s and no threat of rain.
The venue has staged two day-night women’s ODIs previously, where India’s pacers found ample movement under the lights and helped secure victories of more than 100 runs.
Whether those results tempt captains into rethinking their tactical approach remains to be seen, especially with teams also preparing for the possibility of evening dew — a factor that may still tilt strategy towards chasing. (IANS)
