JOWAI, Jan 29: The Hynñiewtrep Integrated Territorial Organisation (HITO) Jowai Circle on Monday detained three women from Uttar Pradesh for failing to produce valid identification or travel documents.
The women were reportedly planning to sell goods at low prices within Jowai town. Following a verification by HITO leaders, it was discovered that the individuals had entered the area without any documents to establish their identity. The organisation subsequently informed the Anti-Infiltration Department and handed the three women over to the authorities for further action.
