NSCN(NS) cadre surrenders in Arunachal Pradesh

Guwahati, Feb 4: An active cadre of NSCN (Nikki Sumi) outfit identified as Wangjong Wangsu (37 years), son of Jesan Wangsu from Longsom village under Longding Police Station in Longding district of Arunachal Pradesh surrendered before the 36th Battalion of the CRPF and 44th Battalion of Assam Rifles as well as Arunachal Pradesh Police at the SP office in Tirap district, according to a Press release.

The 36th Bn of the CRPF reiterates its commitment towards maintaining peace, security, and development in the area and encourages misguided youths to abandon the path of violence and return to the mainstream.
