Kiran Kumar, Former Chairman of the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO), Member of the Space Commission, and Chairman of the Apex Science Board, ISRO.

The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from students, faculty members, researchers, and distinguished guests.

In his illuminating address, Shri Kiran Kumar elaborated on ISRO’s remarkable contributions not only to national space science and technology but also to the everyday lives of citizens. His address reflected confidence, clarity, and a forward-looking vision for India’s emergence as a leading space power.

Earlier in the programme, Prof. (Dr.) Dhubajyoti Borah, Advisor to the Chancellor, RGU, addressed the gathering and emphasized the transformative role of scientific research and innovation in nation-building. He applauded ISRO’s extraordinary achievements and encouraged students to nurture scientific temper, perseverance, and dedication.

The session concluded with a vibrant interactive segment, where students engaged enthusiastically with the eminent scientist, raising thoughtful questions about space missions, research prospects, and career opportunities in the space sector. Kiran Kumar responded with insight and encouragement, inspiring young minds to dream ambitiously and contribute to the nation’s scientific advancement.
