27 Meghalaya Kickboxers Eye Glory in Asmita League

Shillong, Feb 27: A 27-member women’s contingent from the Meghalaya State Kickboxing Association has arrived in Siliguri, West Bengal, to compete in the Khelo India Asmita Kickboxing League 2025–26, scheduled from February 26 to March 1.
The squad is spearheaded by two international kickboxers Nathaniel P Kurkalang of Mylliem Mawrie and Ibadarishisha Mukhim of Lower Lumparing Lumdorbar — alongside accomplished fighters Daniella I Wanda Mylliemngap, Medariphyla Lyngdoh Nongbri and Belldona Pakyntein. The team comprises athletes drawn from East Khasi Hills, Eastern West Khasi Hills, South West Khasi Hills and West Jaintia Hills, reflecting a strong statewide representation.The league will feature participants from 11 eastern states competing on a single platform, with qualification at stake for the Khelo India Asmita Kickboxing Women’s National League 2025–26, to be held in Chennai, from March 26 to 29.
