Tura, March 3: Meghalaya’s Aneesh M Sangma capped a remarkable debut season by finishing as first runner-up in the Gypsy Category of the Indian National Rally Championship (INRC) 2025.
The championship comprised five rounds across Coimbatore, Coorg, Bangalore, Indore and Nashik, with Sangma claiming podium finishes in three events to end second overall behind Sanjay Agarwal of Bengaluru.His consistent performances against the country’s top rally drivers mark a significant milestone for Meghalaya motorsport. Sangma termed the achievement a proud moment and expressed his determination to aim for the championship title in the coming seasons.
