District administration issues public Notice for “Our Magnificent Meghalaya – Vision 2032” programme

Tura, March 5: The Office of the Deputy Commissioner, West Garo Hills, has informed the general public that the programme “Our Magnificent Meghalaya – Vision 2032: Celebrating 8 Years of MDA Government” will be held on March 6, 2026 at the P. A. Sangma Sports Complex, Tura.
According to the public notice issued by the Deputy Commissioner, Shri Vibhor Aggarwal, IAS, the District Administration, in close coordination with the Police Department, has undertaken necessary preparations to ensure the smooth conduct of the programme.
As part of the arrangements, security personnel and Executive Magistrates will be stationed across the district from the early morning hours to facilitate the safe movement and participation of beneficiaries, invited guests, and members of the public attending the programme.
The District Administration has assured that adequate measures have been put in place to maintain law and order and ensure public safety throughout the event.
All citizens, beneficiaries, and stakeholders have been encouraged to attend the programme and extend their full cooperation in maintaining a peaceful and orderly environment.
The administration has also cautioned that any act that disrupts public order or interferes with the peaceful conduct of the programme will be dealt with strictly in accordance with the law.
The District Administration has further expressed appreciation for the cooperation and support of all citizens in ensuring the successful conduct of the programme.
