Curfew in WGH extended by another day

TURA, March 17: Although the situation in West Garo Hills has returned to normal, curfew has been extended by yet another day to restore normalcy and prevent further escalation of violence.
West Garo Hills District Magistrate Vibhor Aggarwal issued an order on Tuesday extending curfew in the entire district from 6 AM of Wednesday till 6 AM of Thursday, with a 12-hour relaxation from 6 AM till 6 PM to facilitate public movement and regular activities.
During the relaxation period, all educational institutions, offices, banks and other establishments shall function normally, the order added.
