IIM Shillong calls applications for Yuva Sangam

SHILLONG, March 17: IIM Shillong, the lead institution for Meghalaya under the ‘Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat’ initiative, has invited students and off-campus youths to participate in Yuva Sangam Phase-VI.
In a statement here, the IIM Shillong informed that the national exchange programme aims to strengthen ties between youth across different states and union territories through exposure visits.
Participants will gain an immersive experience of their host state, focusing on its cultural heritage, development and innovation, it said.
It may be mentioned that the programme is built on five thematic pillars, namely Tourism (Paryatan), Traditions (Parampara), Development (Pragati), People-to-People Connect (Paraspar Sampark) and Technology (Prodyogiki).
Through institutional visits and community engagement, the initiative seeks to promote mutual understanding and national integration.
In this regard, the IIM Shillong has informed that students from all universities and higher educational institutions in Meghalaya are eligible to apply.
Interested candidates have been asked to register through the official portal at https://ebsb.aicte-india.org/ by March 18.
