SHILLONG, March 23: The Deputy Commissioner (Supply), East Khasi Hills, has issued a public advisory for all LPG consumers in the district regarding mandatory compliance and new booking regulations.
According to a notification here, all consumers have been directed to complete their Digital Authentication Compliance (DAC) and eKYC with their respective distributors at the earliest.
The administration stated that this is mandatory to ensure an uninterrupted supply of cylinders, and non-compliance may result in the disruption of LPG services.
The advisory further noted that refill bookings will now be permitted only after a gap of 25 days from the date of the last delivery. Any booking made before this stipulated period will be automatically rejected by the system. Consumers have been requested to cooperate with their distributors to complete the necessary formalities. For further assistance, individuals have been asked to contact their respective LPG agencies.
