FIFA World Cup 2026

Lisbon, March 23: Cristiano Ronaldo has offered a reassuring update on his fitness, easing fears over his availability for the upcoming FIFA World Cup 2026.
The Portugal captain, who had been sidelined with a hamstring injury, took to social media to share a glimpse of his recovery process. The post, showing him back in training and working on his rehabilitation, has sparked optimism that his return to action may not be far away.
Ronaldo had been left out of Portugal’s squad for the March international friendlies against Mexico and the United States after sustaining the injury while playing for Al Nassr in late February. (Agencies)
