NGH launches campaign against child trafficking

TURA, March 24: A district-wide awareness campaign to combat child trafficking was launched in North Garo Hills on Tuesday.
The initiative, launched by the Office of the Deputy Commissioner (Development), North Garo Hills, covered several key locations to ensure maximum outreach, including the DC Office premises, Mendipathar Bazar, Dekachang, Mendipathar Railway Station, Bajengdoba, Gokul, Kharkutta and Adokgre.
As part of the campaign, banners and placards were displayed to sensitise the public on the legal consequences of child trafficking and the importance of prevention.
