Reflecting on her childhood, she admitted struggling with dance and singing but found acting to be her true strength. Hathaway emphasised that hard work is something she can control, and she strives never to feel she could have done more. For her upcoming film Mother Mary, she pushed beyond previous physical limits, taking intensive dance lessons to meet demanding performance requirements.
