‘Work ethic, not talent, defines me,’ says Anne Hathaway

Hollywood actress Anne Hathaway says she feels “defined by her work ethic” rather than talent. The 43-year-old told Harper’s Bazaar that while she grew up with certain privileges, her career success wouldn’t be handed to her, so she has always focused on giving her maximum effort in every project. Reflecting on her childhood, she admitted struggling with dance and singing but found acting to be her true strength. Hathaway emphasised that hard work is something she can control, and she strives never to feel she could have done more. For her upcoming film Mother Mary, she pushed beyond previous physical limits, taking intensive dance lessons to meet demanding performance requirements. She concluded that while some might achieve results faster, she left nothing “on the floor,” confident she gave her absolute best. (IANS)

Hollywood star Ryan Gosling surprised fans at a New York premiere of his sci-fi blockbuster Project Hail Mary, emphasizing that it’s filmmakers’, not audiences’, responsibility to keep theaters alive.
