SHILLONG, April 8: After weeks of uncertainty, the LPG crisis in Shillong has finally begun showing signs of improvement, especially with regard to availability of commercial LPG cylinders.
Although the situation has considerably improved in Shillong, LPG stocks continue to be limited, President of the Federation of Shillong Hotels, Parambir Singh Sehdave said on Wednesday.
Stating that booking of cylinders is required to be done through email to the gas agency, he lamented that lack of information or awareness was disrupting supplies to commercial establishments due to which many hotels and eateries are operating with curtailed menus.
