Actor Tamannaah Bhatia opened up about the limited opportunities available to female actors in the film industry, emphasizing how rare it is for women to secure multiple projects simultaneously.
Speaking to ANI, she expressed excitement about her upcoming films and remarked that, even after 21 years in the industry, she feels as though she is starting anew. Tamannaah highlighted the uniqueness of her current opportunities, noting that not many actors—especially women—experience such a phase in their careers.
She also reflected on the acceptance and warmth she has received from audiences, particularly in South India, which has been a constant throughout her career.
What excites her now is the growing admiration from audiences across other parts of India, which she described as both humbling and motivating. She said this response inspires her to find ways to give back to her fans.
Tamannaah was in Delhi on Wednesday for the launch of ‘Oristar,’ a new technology-driven brand by Jayanta Lighting Innovation, where she serves as brand ambassador. The event was attended by Jayanta Group director Manish Gupta and actor Rohit Roy.
On the work front, Tamannaah will star in Ekta Kapoor’s production Vvan, directed by Deepak Mishra and Arunabh Kumar, with Sidharth Malhotra.
The film is set to release in theatres on August 28, coinciding with Raksha Bandhan. (ANI)
