JOWAI, April 11: Iong-I FC beat Pdengkarong SC to emerge as champions of the 4th Knockout Football Tournament 2026, organised by Teen Rocker Club Padu at the Paduhbah football ground in West Jaintia Hills District, on Saturday.
The lone goal for Iong-I FC was scored by Player of the Match Samborlang Lato. Iong-I FC’s Kyrshanlang Kharjana was adjudged The Best Goalkeeper.
The champions Iong-I FC received a cash award of Rs 1,10,000, while runners-up Pdengkarong SC received Rs 60,000.
Arbor Hima Darnei, former MDC of Saipung and former chairman of JHADC, attended as the chief guest, while Reachingson Kongwang, Secretary of NPP Amlarem, was present as the guest of honour.
