Shillong, April 11: Sputnik CC beat Rangkynsai SC, while Royal CC breezed past Langsning XI CC in the semifinals of the Late P A Sangma Memorial T20 Trophy 2026, organised by the Shillong Cricket Association, on Saturday.
In the first semifinal, sent in to bat first, Rangkynsai managed to get 123/9 in 20 overs with Rahul Dalal top scoring with 32 runs in 24 balls for. Swarajeet Das bagged 2/23 for Sputnik. In reply, Sputnik chased the target in 14 overs while losing 2 wickets, thereby winning the match by 8 wickets.
In second semifinal, Royal beat Langsning by 25 runs. Batting first, Royal scored 154/10 in 20 overs. Raj Biswa top scored with 48 runs in 23 balls. In response, Langsning were all out for 129 in 19.5 overs. Reshabh Dipak starred with the ball for Royal bagging 4/19.
The final will be played on April 13 at 12:30pm.
