UDP backs govt decision on Lumpongdeng

SHILLONG, April 21: The UDP has backed the state government’s decision to exclude Lumpongdeng Island from the proposed Umiam Luxury Resort and Spa project.
Cabinet Minister and UDP chief Metbah Lyngdoh said the government has taken a conscious decision by respecting the people’s voice.
