SHILLONG, May 26: Two persons have been reported missing from Shillong in separate incidents, the East Khasi Hills Police informed in a statement issued on Tuesday.
The first person, 23-year-old Rahul Chettri, has been missing since April 28, 2026. He is 4.7 feet tall, has a fair complexion, an oval face, and a muscular build. He has short black hair and a visible scar on his right cheek. He is fluent in Nepali, Hindi, Khasi, and English.
The second person, 17-year-old Tumpa Nath, was reported missing on May 22, 2026.
She is 4.8 feet tall with a fair complexion and black hair. She was last seen wearing a grey tracksuit jacket, blue track pants, and white canvas shoes. She speaks Hindi, English, and Bengali.
East Khasi Hills Superintendent of Police, Vivek Syiem, has requested anyone with information regarding their whereabouts to contact the Police Control Room at 6009196479 or the Missing Desk (Crime Branch) at 8837282114.
