Legendary American rock band Guns N’ Roses is set to return to India later this year for two major performances as part of the Asia leg of its ongoing world tour, with concerts scheduled in Bengaluru and Guwahati.
The band will perform at Nice Grounds in Bengaluru on November 14 before travelling to Guwahati for a show at Khanapara Ground on November 17.
The announcement was made by Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma, who described the event as another milestone in the state’s efforts to establish itself as a global destination for live entertainment.Sarma said the concert follows the successful performance by Post Malone in Guwahati last year and reflects Assam’s growing prominence on the international concert map.
According to the chief minister, the event is expected to attract visitors from across India and abroad, creating new opportunities for tourism and local businesses while showcasing Assam’s culture and hospitality.
The Guwahati concert is particularly significant as it marks the band’s expansion beyond India’s traditional metropolitan concert circuit and highlights the growing demand for large-scale live entertainment events in the Northeast.
Formed in Los Angeles in 1985, Guns N’ Roses remains one of the most influential rock bands in music history.
The group rose to global fame with its debut album Appetite for Destruction and chart-topping hits such as Welcome to the Jungle, Paradise City, Sweet Child O’ Mine and November Rain.
The band has continued to attract audiences across generations through its energetic live performances and enduring catalogue of classic rock songs.
The concerts are being produced and promoted by BookMyShow Live. Organisers said the overwhelming response to the band’s 2025 India tour demonstrated the strength of the country’s live entertainment sector.
Fans will have access to a special pre-sale through the band’s Nightrain Fan Club before general ticket sales open on BookMyShow.
The shows also align with Assam’s concert tourism policy, approved in 2025, which aims to position the state as a premier music and entertainment hub by attracting major national and international events. Guwahati, Dibrugarh and Jorhat have been identified as key centres for hosting large-scale concerts and music festivals.
