New Chandigarh, June 8: Left-arm spinner Manav Suthar etched his name into the Indian cricket record books with a stunning six-wicket haul on Test debut against Afghanistan, registering the third-best innings figures by an Indian bowler in his maiden Test appearance.
The 23-year-old returned figures of 6 for 33 in Afghanistan’s second innings, playing a pivotal role in India’s crushing innings-and-300-run victory in New Chandigarh.
