GUWAHATI, June 15: The Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council (KAAC) has finalised and published the merit list for the appointment of 198 assistant teachers in Lower Primary Schools under the Notified Special Focus Area Schools of Karbi Anglong.
“I am happy to inform that the appointment letters for the 198 selected assistant teachers are proposed to be distributed during the celebration of KAAC Foundation Day. This occasion will mark not only a celebration of our institution’s journey but also a renewed investment in the future of education in our district,” KAAC chief executive member Tuliram Ronghang said.
“This recruitment is part of our continued commitment to strengthening the education sector and ensuring that quality primary education reaches every child, especially those living in remote and underserved areas. Teachers are the foundation of a strong educational system, and these appointments will significantly enhance the learning environment in our schools,” Ronghang, who is also the MLA of Rongkhang constituency, said.
The CEM congratulated the selected candidates, stating that their appointment is a recognition of your hard work and merit, and that he was confident that they will serve with dedication and sincerity.
“Further, I would like to assure the public that the process for appointment against the remaining 131 sanctioned posts of assistant teachers (Lower Primary) is proposed to be taken up in the second phase, for which the necessary SIU approval is under process,” the MLA said.
He further reiterated that education would remain one of the highest priorities of the Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council.
“We shall continue our efforts to strengthen educational infrastructure, improve learning outcomes, and create greater opportunities for our young generation,” he added.
