Foo Fighters to perform in India in January 2027

American rock band Foo Fighters will make its long-awaited India debut in January 2027, with concerts scheduled in Bengaluru on January 29 and Mumbai’s Mahalaxmi Racecourse on January 31. Formed in 1994 by former Nirvana drummer Dave Grohl, the band is known for hits such as The Pretender, Stacked Actors and Monkey Wrench.
Presented by BookMyShow, the shows mark a major moment for Indian rock fans. Grohl said the band is excited to finally perform in India after 31 years and promised “very long, very loud nights.”
The group, which recently released its 12th studio album, Your Favorite Toy, currently includes Grohl, Nate Mendel, Pat Smear, Chris Shiflett, Rami Jaffee and Ilan Rubin. (PTI)
