Anya Taylor-Joy joins The Lord of the Rings: The Hunt for Gollum

Hollywood actor Anya Taylor-Joy is set to feature in The Lord Of The Rings: The Hunt for Gollum.
The actor will essay the role of Seren, a Sindar Elf of the Woodland Realm, who is described as “a trusted and lethal agent of King Thrandui,” according to the entertainment news outlet Variety.
Taylor-Joy will join the previously announced cast comprising Andy Serkis, Ian McKellen and Elijah Wood. It is directed by Serkis.
The film is set between The Hobbit trilogy and The Lord of the Rings trilogy.
The story follows Aragorn and Gandalf as they search for Gollum to learn more about the origins of Bilbo’s mysterious ring.
Peter Jackson is set to produce alongside Fran Walsh and Philippa Boyens. The Lord of the Rings: The Hunt for Gollum is slated for release worldwide in December 2027.
Besides The Lord Of The Rings: The Hunt for Gollum, the actor will feature in Apple TV’s series Lucky. She will essay the role of Luciana Armstrong in the series. (PTI)
