Cong pushes to make right to vote fundamental right

New Delhi, June 21: The Congress has strongly advocated for making the right to vote a fundamental right. Leader Jairam Ramesh stated this elevation would provide the highest level of judicial protection and safeguard against widespread voter suppression or arbitrary disqualifications across states.
The demand comes amid allegations by the party regarding the partisan functioning of the Election Commission of India. (PTI)
