Shillong-based rock band Never End is preparing to take its music beyond Indian shores, with plans underway for an international tour following two successful concert runs across the country.
Formed in 2021, the band comprises manager Mebanteiskhem Kharkongor, vocalist Jecinta Lyngdoh Tron, guitarist Banshanbor Ryntathiang and drummer Jezreel Carmel Kharshandi.
Over the past few years, the group has steadily built a reputation for its original music, energetic performances and distinctive sound.
The band achieved a major milestone in 2025 with its first India tour, performing at leading live music venues including The Piano Man in Delhi, Someplace Else in Kolkata, EXT in Hyderabad, Hard Rock Cafe in Bengaluru, High Spirits in Siliguri and Evening Club in Shillong.
Encouraged by the audience response, Never End later embarked on a second mini-tour, performing at the CMMGMP concert at By The Way Café in Shillong, High Spirits in Pune, Hard Rock Cafe in Hyderabad, and Cafe Hendrix in Guwahati.
According to band members, the tours provided an opportunity to showcase original music from Meghalaya to audiences across the country while expanding the band’s fan base.
With two successful national tours behind them, Never End is now focused on the next phase of its journey — taking its music to international audiences. The band has already begun planning future overseas performances as part of its efforts to establish a presence in the global independent music scene.
A key force behind the band’s growth has been manager Mebanteiskhem Kharkongor, whose vision and efforts have helped expand Never End’s reach beyond Meghalaya and onto national platforms.
As preparations begin for its international venture, Never End hopes to carry Shillong’s rich musical legacy to a wider audience and further strengthen the city’s reputation as India’s rock music capital.
