Actor Emma Roberts is set to feature in a special appearance in the series adaptation of Aquamarine.
The film was directed by Elizabeth Allen Rosenbaum and released in 2006. It featured the actor in the role of Claire Brown, a shy and timid teenage girl who, alongside her best friend Hailey ( Joanna Levesque), discovers a stranded mermaid named Aquamarine in their local beach club. Roberts will also serve as an executive producer on the project. According to the entertainment news outlet Variety, Disney+ and Disney Channel have ordered a pilot for an Aquamarine series. Rosenbaum is returning to direct the pilot. (PTI)

As the days count down to the release of Alpha, actor Alia Bhatt has unveiled fresh stills from the upcoming action thriller, giving fans another glimpse of her fierce on-screen avatar. With just a week left before the film arrives in cinemas, the actor shared two new images from the YRF Spy Universe film on social media. Alia shared pictures along with a caption that read, ‘7 days to go. #Alpha releasing in cinemas from July 3.’ The pictures feature the Raazi actor in an intense action-ready look, continuing the promotional campaign for the film ahead of its theatrical release. Kylie faces third workplace lawsuit
Kylie Jenner is facing a third workplace-related lawsuit after a former private chef alleged that an ‘intense’ workload and inadequate workplace support during her high-risk pregnancy contributed to a miscarriage. The complaint, filed in the Los Angeles Superior Court on Monday, June 22, also names management firm Tri Star as a co-defendant, as per People magazine. According to the lawsuit reports obtained by People magazine, the woman began working for Jenner in November 2024 and informed her supervisors that she was three months pregnant and required workplace accommodations because of her high-risk pregnancy. The complaint alleges that in December 2024, she experienced a medical emergency after being instructed to “transport heavy food items across the street and uphill”. (Agencies)
