Four killed in head-on collision between jeeps

BEGUSARAI (Bihar), June 29: At least four persons were killed and eight others were injured when their jeeps collided head-on in Bihar’s Begusarai district, police said on Monday.The incident took place in the early hours. The two jeeps collided head-on in the intervening night of Sunday and Monday. Three persons died on the spot and another one succumbed to injuries during treatment. A total of eight persons have been injured in the incident.Three of the deceased were friends travelling to Simaria to take a holy dip in the Ganga on the occasion of ‘Purnima’, while the fourth victim was a member of a wedding party. Sena MLA claims video of him discussing ‘commission’ created using AI

KOHLAPUR, June 29: Shiv Sena MLA Rajesh Kshirsagar has claimed a video clip purportedly showing him discussing the payment of ‘commission’ with a government contractor was doctored using AI and his voice had been dubbed. Addressing a news conference here on Sunday, Kshirsagar hit out at the Opposition, particularly Congress MLC Satej Patil.He has submitted a complaint to the cyber police for investigating the video.Kshirsagar, an MLA from Kolhapur district, also said his team is looking into the matter and exploring legal options. “The video has been made using AI, and my voice has been dubbed,” Kshirsagar claimed, adding that the viral clip was part of a conspiracy to sabotage his political career. He added that the video clip went viral on January 14, two days before the Kolhapur Municipal Corporation polls. (PTI)
