The rumoured wedding of Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce is drawing closer, and new details about the celebration have started making headlines. According to PEOPLE, reports suggest the couple has planned a grand black-tie event at New York City’s Madison Square Garden, with strict rules in place for guests. According to PEOPLE, guests attending the wedding will be required to follow a black-tie dress code. They will also have to leave their mobile phones behind, as a phone check will reportedly take place at the entrance. Reports also suggest that between 500 and 999 guests are expected to attend the wedding celebrations. Earlier this month, George Kittle shared that guests still did not know the exact wedding location. He said Travis Kelce laughed when he asked about it and joked that everyone might end up boarding a plane to a secret destination. Kittle also revealed that guests have been asked not to bring wedding gifts, as per the publication. (ANI)

The makers of director Nelson Dilipkumar’s eagerly awaited action entertainer Jailer 2, featuring Superstar Rajinikanth in the lead, on Thursday announced that the film would hit screens worldwide on October 15 this year, much to the delight of fans and film buffs. Taking to its social media timelines, Sun Pictures, the production house producing the film, wrote, ‘Alappara Kelappurom! #Jailer2 storms into theatres worldwide on October 15 #Jailer2FromOct15.’ The makers also released a release date announcement teaser in which actor Vinayakan is seen issuing a threat with a laugh. “You can’t be at peace after killing me. There’s a big world behind me, Jailer! This is a huge network. You won’t know who is coming (for you), when and how. Your life will turn into hell.” (IANS)

Rita Ora, Clean Bandit to headline ICC Women’s T20 WC finale

British singer-songwriter Rita Ora is all set to bring music to one of cricket’s biggest stages, as she is set to headline the closing ceremony of the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2026 final at Lord’s on Sunday, July 5, the ICC announced. The day will also feature a special performance by electronic pop band Clean Bandit after the champions are crowned. The ICC has announced that music, culture and cricket will come together for the grand finale of the tournament, with two global music acts performing before and after the Women’s T20 World Cup final. Ora will be performing at the closing ceremony, which will begin at 2:30 PM local time. The singer is set to perform at Lord’s, one of the most iconic cricket venues in the world, before the final gets underway. (ANI)

Chris Brown ordered to pay $13 mn to former housekeeper after dog attack

Singer-songwriter Chris Brown is facing legal consequences. The singer has been ordered to pay nearly $13 million in damages to his former housekeeper after a brutal dog attack took place in his home. The attack happened in 2020, and left the housekeeper with serious injuries, reports ‘People’ magazine. A Los Angeles jury ruled in favor of Maria Avila, his former housekeeper, who was attacked by a 90kg Caucasian shepherd named Hades owned by Brown for security purposes. Billboard states that following the two-week trial, Brown and his company Black Pyramid LLC have to pay Avila $12.9 million for negligence. During the trial, Avila shared that in 2020 she was taking the trash out at his Tarzana, California home when she was attacked by the dog, who ripped out “large chunks of her skin”, and left her face and arm permanently disfigured. She’s also suffered mobility issues as a result of the attack. (ANI)
